Blaine County Sheriff’s Office
The Blaine County Sheriff’s Department (BCSO) is a law enforcement agency serving Blaine County, San Andreas. BCSO has 2 employees – a Sheriff and an Undersheriff. The BCSO is actively hiring.
The BCSO is headquartered at 294 Alhambra Dr, Sandy Shores. The department’s three main responsibilities are to provide municipal police services within Blaine County, courthouse security for the Superior Court of Los Santos, and housing and transportation services of inmates within the county jail system. In addition to providing municipal police services to the unincorporated and rural communities within Blaine County, it has contractual arrangements to provide mutual aid for Los Santos.
In 2019, it was confirmed that numerous separate gangs of deputy sheriffs within the BCSO had been known to be operating since the 1970s. These gangs engaged “in a pattern of on-duty behavior that intentionally violated the law or fundamental principles of professional policing,” including racial profiling, police brutality, police corruption, and other misconduct.
